Join us for a powerful Book Club Series designed especially for survivors of who have experienced a military or veteran loss. who are one year or more beyond their loss. Together, we'll read and explore two of Dr. Brené Brown's most meaningful works:

Series includes Dr. Brené Brown’s new book Atlas of the Heart: Mapping Meaningful Connection and the Language of Human Experience
This 22-week book club is more than just reading—it’s a chance to connect with others, reflect deeply, and grow together. Each 90-minute session includes:
- Guided reading using the Read Along Workbook and Glossary
- Facilitated discussions and breakout room conversations
- Practical tools for everyday leadership and connection
You don’t need a formal title to lead. This series invites you to show up with courage in your life, work, family, and community.
Who Should Attend?
This Book Club series is designed for survivors of who have experienced a military or veteran loss who are ready to explore brave leadership and meaningful connection. Whether you consider yourself a formal leader or simply someone seeking to live more courageously, this space is for you.
What You’ll Explore
Over 22 sessions, you’ll engage with themes inspired by Brené Brown’s research:
- Rumbling with Vulnerability – How to face uncertainty and hard conversations with compassion and courage
- Living into Your Values – Clarifying what matters most and using those values to guide your actions
- Braving Trust – Strengthening your relationships through honesty, boundaries, and integrity
- Learning to Rise – Navigating disappointment and setbacks with resilience and self-awareness
What to Expect
- Weekly Zoom sessions for live engagement
- A downloadable Read Along Workbook and Glossary
- Breakout rooms for small group conversation and connection
- Confidential, supportive space—no recordings will be shared
- Book Club is led by a Certified Dare to Lead Facilitator
Recognition
Participants who complete the series will receive a TAPS Book Club Series Certificate of Completion (33 hours). In addition, a letter for Continuing Coach Education (CCE) will be provided for 33 hours.
